Shannon McAteer is
currently on Active
Duty in the United
States Army. He
started his career
as an
infantryman and
later became a
helicopter pilot and
is qualified in the
UH-1, AH-1, UH-60
and MH-60
aircraft. He has
served in
Operations' Desert
Shield/Storm,
Restore/Uphold
Democracy (Haiti),
and
Operations' Iraqi
Freedom and Enduring
Freedom in both Iraq
and Afghanistan.
Shannon is a
graduate in
Aeronautics (BS)
from Embry Riddle
Aeronautical
University. Shannon
also enjoys flying
seaplanes, airplanes
and cooking.
